Aijaz
was a Clement and religious personality. He was very popular not only
among his friends but also in the whole Shia community. He was a versatile
artist and has to his credit many paintings and works of calligraphy which
presented verses from Holy Quran. He ventured making very attractive and
artistic names of Ahlul Bayt (A.S.) He was expert in miniature creations
of art.
He presented to Dr. Zakir Hussain, the former President of India, a grain
of rice on which he engraved Bismillah Ir Rahman Ir Raheem. & Nasru
Minallahi Wa Fat’hun Qareeb. When Dr. Zakir Hussain came to Hyderabad,
Mr Aijaz had the honour of having audience with him for considerable time.
He opened a shop 15 years ago opposite to Ibadath Khana-e-Hussaini. Where
in he kept different artistic toghras and many people acquired them after
offering their Hadiyas to be exhibited in their homes as a mark of obeisance
towards Ahlul Bayt (a.s.).
Mr. Aijaz was very much impressed by the majalis of Allama Rasheed Turabi
and had a large collection of his majalis in the form of cassettes and
printed material. He was so much taken away by the majalis recited by
Allama Turabi for disciples & companions of Hazrat Ali (A.S.), Hazrat
Salman Farsi (r.a) & Hazrat Ammar-e-Yasir (r.a) that he named his
sons Salman & Ammar and the book shop opened was named as Salman book
centre. The shop by the grace of Allah and the blessings of fourteen Infallibles
(A.S.) has become a unique centre for all the leading religious books.
It is like beacon for the whole Shia community to get itself trenched
in the heavy showers of knowledge emitted from Salman Book Centre. It
is a small shop & is like Diamond in the ring of which every customer
is proud, as he was lucky enough to procure the book from it. Momineen
coming from all the seven shores of the world are anchoring themselves
at Salman Book Centre to avail the facility of the unique collection of
religious Books, Cassettes, CDs, & Toghras before going abroad.
The fame of book centre has brought into its fold almost all the renowned
and learned Ulemas and Zakireen like Allama Irfan Hyder Abedi, Allama
Taleb Johari, Professor Abdul Hakeem, Moulana Sadiq Hasan, and Moulana
Shoukat Raza who graced the majalis of Hyderabad. They not only visited
but also penned their valuable views about his book centre.
It was due to devotion and total dedication of Mr Aijaz to Ahlul Bayt
(A.S.) which made Salman book centre flourish by leaps and bounce. It
has become a household name for the Shia community as a whole their requirements
of religious books.
I request one and all to pray for Mr. Aijaz who joined heavenly abode
in the service of Ahlul Bayt (A.S.) whom he served in this world for all
his life.
